Cardmarket Card View is an independent browser extension for browsing card listings. It has no publisher-operated backend, analytics, advertising, payment service or extension account.

Data used on your device

On supported Cardmarket pages, the extension reads the page URL and card listing content, including product links, image links, prices, language, condition and supported variant markers. It uses this information to show card images, apply your chosen filters and compare asking prices. It does not record general browsing history or read passwords.

Local storage

Display and filter preferences are saved in Chrome's local extension storage. Recent price results are also stored locally, keyed by the filtered product URL and variant. Cached results expire after 30 minutes and old entries are cleaned up when the extension starts on a supported page. Explicit price checks refresh the result. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage.

Requests to Cardmarket

Card images load from Cardmarket's image hosting. Price checks request Cardmarket product pages only when you click an individual or bulk price-check action. Filter actions, including optional automatic filtering, navigate to Cardmarket pages with the chosen filter parameters. Requests use your existing Cardmarket browser session. Cardmarket and its hosting providers receive normal web-request information such as your IP address, requested URL and applicable cookies or referrer information, under their own policies. No listing data or preferences are sent to an extension publisher server.

Your choices

You can disable card images, price comparisons, automatic filtering or the floating panel independently in the popup. Automatic filtering is off by default. Bulk price checks can be stopped. The extension does not place orders or change sellers' listings.

Sharing and changes

The extension does not sell data, use data for advertising or share it with unrelated third parties. This policy describes the bundled version above. Any future features that change data handling require an updated policy.
